Q: What is the cut-off date for completing the course?
A: There is two year registration period.
Q: What is the Quick Start guide?
A: Please contact support@trifocusfitnessacademy if you have not received the Quick Start guide, this is a short summary of how you must go about completing your course.
Q: Is Trifocus Fitness Academy internationally recognized?
A: Yes, we will in fact cover your first year of registration with Repssa (visit www.repssa.com). You will be able to work in any country which is affiliated with the Register of Exercise Professionals.
Q: How long does it take before I receive feedback on my submission?
A: This may take 3 to 6 weeks depending on the amount of submissions at any one stage. We therefore recommend that if you have a deadline, complete and submit your course at least 6 weeks beforehand.
Q: How do I submit a project or document online?
A: The documents for submission can be found in the submit buttons, they are highlighted in blue and will open in a new tab on your browser. From here you can print them, complete the requirements, scan the documents back onto your computer and the upload onto the system by clicking on the "browse" button to choose your document (still within the submit button).
Q: What is the Learner Workplace Logbook?
A: This document must be used in conjunction with the Log Sheet, the mentor or person/s you shadow must progressively sign off the Learner Workplace Logbook (LWL) and Log Sheet as hours are gained – Each task listed within the LWL must be signed and dated by the mentor. We will also need a copy of only one mentor/s certificate as well as their contact details for verification purposes.
Q: Can I rather E-mail my submission than submit them online?
A: No, we recommend contacting email@example.com if you are unsure about how to submit online, or alternatively read the quick start guide.
Q: What is the difference between Online and Correspondence?
A: The Online method entails logging on to your dashboard and completing all tasks through this dashboard. Correspondence entails completing your course by using the printed material and couriering them back to us once complete.
Q: Who is the assessor and moderator?
A: These will be assigned at the office once we receive your submissions. The assessor will be providing you with feedback and guidelines in the case that more evidence of competence is required.
Q: Should I complete all the questions?
A: Yes, all questions and tasks must be completed in order for us to be able to make a good assessment decision upon your level of competence.
Q: How many hours do I need to shadow a trainer for?
A: This will be explained in your quick start guide, if you have not received one, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: What is a CPD or CE?
A: These are called continued professional development and continued education points. You will need to gain 24 points within a year in order to stay registered with Repssa.
Q: Can I complete half the course online and half the course via correspondence?
A: No, you will need to complete the whole course using only one method.
